Magnolia Guesthouse - Lisbon

Raquel's really good hospitality enhanced our stay.

We found the location inconvenient, situated uphill from the metro and far from major attractions. There were limited dining options available nearby, which restricted our choices for meals. The shared bathroom setup was problematic, especially during mornings when multiple guests were preparing.

Everything was good, EXCELLENT location short walk to Lisbon and the surrounding country, the center of the new part of the city and the Metro/bus station, hospitable staff. No complaints whatsoever, we liked this accommodation and do recommend.

We were so impressed with helpful service that would like to go back there again. Magnificent location near metro line, extremely friendly staff, everything was good. Location: the hotel was right by the metro station and the main centre which was like 30-45 minutes away from the guesthouse. The place was minutes away from Caruso, where you can have dinner👍🙂

The room was bright, yet shared bathroom was often crowded with too many guests.

Thanks everyone for a such wonderful stay on vacation. We booked good-sized and large room with a nice view and treats for evening tea, for instance. And the room's amenities were good...

The facilities were good and the breakfast was marvellous with homemade jam.

The hostess was so helpful, offering great recommendations for local sights and eateries. My room was cozy, and I was impressed with the cleanliness and decor. Breakfast was delicious too.

Good location

Room noise from the main street intrusion!!! Bathroom arrangement with multiple occupants created inconvenience!!! The pressure to leave before check-out time impacted our stay!!! Payment expectations for children should be more transparent!!!

The host, Raquel, was helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining. The room was large, bright, and well-decorated, and breakfast was a substantial spread, including fresh bread and delicious coffee.

The spacious room boasted a charming decor and a nice air conditioning system. Raquel, the host. A slight noise from the busy street was noticeable, but the location's convenience outweighed this minor issue.

Highly Recommended for Solo Travelers

The owner, such a lovely lady, was always there to help, giving excellent advice. I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious and plenty!

It wasn't cheap, but still reasonable for the quality.

The breakfast was great, and the hostess was super nice and helpful. We walked to some amazing spots nearby, like the Belém Tower and the Alfama district. The location is fantastic. Self check-in was easy and our room was comfy with a good amount of space.

It was just a great fit for a fleeting trip in Lisbon with very good value for money. Raquel provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Try to travel light, as the walk from the metro can be steep.
